Business Continuity
Soroc provides its customers with fully tailored, dedicated business recovery solutions.
In the event of a disruption to business activity, Soroc’s clients’ employees can
walk into the Soroc facility, sit down at their designated workspace, and commence
work as if they were at their own desk.
Unlike shared-seat recovery center providers that compel customers to conform to
common, prescribed requirements, Soroc custom-builds each business continuity center
based on its customer’s specific needs. Furthermore, its facilities are multi-carrier,
so clients can select the carrier of their choice.
Soroc creates a seamless extension of its customers’ operations which not only aids
in speed of recovery, but also ensures customers don’t pay for features they don’t
need. Additionally, Soroc’s set-fee pricing model provides customers with access
to their dedicated space 24/7 with no additional fees for occupancy or testing.
Soroc’s Business Recovery Center has 80,000 square feet of seat space and a 20,000
square foot warehouse. Emergency power is provided by 3.3 Mega watts of generator
power connected through close transition switches. In addition, the facility has
a domestic isolation valve to allow for external water service to the building.
Redundant carrier services are provided by Bell, Allstream, Rogers and Cogeco Data
Services. The facility is monitored 24X7 Security with onsite guards.
